Notre-Dame Cathedral

We saw the Notre-Dame a few times but we did not go inside this year.
They started building Notre-Dame in 1163!
And they got the limestone that they needed from quarries underground.

Here is a link to my last blog post about Notre Dame from my visit in 2012:

Notre-Dame de Paris

Mom, Dad and I went to the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris.

Dad and I ate pain au chocolate before we went inside.

The line was very long. But it moved fast.

We got to see the statues that were outside the church up close.

Inside it was huge!

There were lots of statues and stained glass windows.

You have to see this one to know how big it is!

I lit a candle in front of St. Denis and said a prayer thinking about my Grandpa.

I found it scary that the emergency exit was all chained up.

The church is very pretty!

This water fountain was across the street. It was really cool.
